The City of Newark’s Special Event Permit Application Fees ($100.00) for the street closure will be waived.

 Whereas, the Municipal Council is supportive of community events that provide an essential service to the residents of Newark; and

 

WHEREAS, the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Ribbon Cutting and Service will be held on 16th Avenue (between South 19th and South 20th Streets), from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M, on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. The City of Newark’s Special Event Permit Application Permit Fees of One Hundred Dollars and Zero Cents, ($100.00) for the event will be waived; and

 

 WHEREAS, the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ribbon Cutting and Service will allow the community to be a part of a new and open house of praise for all to be a part of and to share in faith; and

 

WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Ribbon Cutting and Service that will be held on 16th Avenue (between South 19th and South 20th Streets), from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.  

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:

 

1.                     The Municipal Council does hereby indicate its support of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Ribbon Cutting and Service will be held on 16th Avenue (between South 19th and South 20th Streets), on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.

 

2.                     The Municipal Council is co-sponsoring this event and waives the City of Newark’s Special Event Permit Application Fees of One Hundred Dollars and Zero Cents ($100.00), however, it does not waive insurance coverage requirements due to be provided by event organizers or costs above service charges described in R.O. 5:10-1 et seq.
