WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the Annual Newark Three Kings Children’s Celebration at Essex County College Gymnasium, West Market Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102 sponsored by Council Member, Luis A. Quintana on Friday, January 5, 2018, between 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. (Event Time - 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.); and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event for the benefit of Newark residents by approving this Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of Essex County College, 303 University Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of Essex County College, 303 University Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Essex County College Gymnasium, West Market Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102 for the Annual Newark Three Kings Children’s Celebration on Friday, January 5, 2018, between 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. (Event Time: 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.).
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to Essex County College, 303 University Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
STATEMENT
This resolution hereby supports the issuance by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the benefit of Essex County College, 303 University Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of the Essex County College Gymnasium, West Market Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102 for the Annual Newark Three Kings Children’s Celebration on Friday, January 5, 2018, between 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. (Event Time: 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.), sponsored by Council Member, Luis A. Quintana.
