WHEREAS, on September 21, 2016, with the adoption of Resolution 7R1e, the City of Newark authorized usage of a State Contract for Maintenance & Repair for Heavy Duty Vehicles Class 5 or Higher, Over 15,000 LB GVWR, for an amount not to exceed $1,495,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the Supervising Procurement Specialist, QPA, is in receipt of a request from the Department of Public Works, Division of Motors to add contract #89272, H.A. DeHart & Son, Inc., 311 Crown Point Road, Thorofare, New Jersey 08086, as an additional vendor to this resolution; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 7R1e- authorized usage of the contract by multiple Departments including Department of Neighborhood and Recreational Services, Division of Sanitation and is now a Division of the Department of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, the expiration date, all other terms and conditions and user agencies in this resolution remains the same and is unchanged.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Supervising Procurement Specialist, QPA, is authorized to amend Resolution 7R1e- for the Maintenance & Repair For Heavy Duty Vehicles (Class 5 Or Higher, Over 15,000 LB GVWR) State, Term Contract # T-2108 by adding #89272 H. A. DeHart & Son Inc., 311 Crown Point Road, Thorofare, New Jersey 08086 to provide services to the City of Newark, as authorized by the Municipal Council, from the date of adoption through July 20, 2018, inclusive of any extensions to the State contract.
2. All purchases shall be in accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:25-16.1 et seq., only those items/services specified in the applicable State contract(s) may be purchased from the contract vendor(s) of record.
3. All purchases, Purchase Orders and other related documentation shall be in accordance with the relevant State Contract, State of New Jersey Standard Terms and Conditions, Method of Operation and Third Party Agreement/Three Party Agreement (if applicable) as contained in the State Contract Documentations and Agreements.
4. There shall be no amendment of this resolution without the approval of the Municipal Council.
5. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
STATEMENT
This resolution amends Resolution 7R1-e for the Maintenance & Repair For Heavy Duty Vehicles (Class 5 Or Higher, Over 15,000 LB GVWR) State, Term Contract # T-2108 by adding H. A. DeHart & Son, Inc. as an additional vendor, to provide services from the date of adoption through July 20, 2018, at no additional increase in the contract amount not to exceed $1,495,000.00.
