WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting Council Member, Darrin S. Sharif for the use of the entire Third Floor, Auditorium, Atrium (when available) and Restroom Facilities for Free Enrichment Classes to Central Ward and Greater Newark Residents to be held at Science Park High School, 260 Norfolk Street, Newark, New Jersey 07103, beginning Saturday, November 2, 2013 and ending Saturday, June 21, 2014, from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support of Family Educational and Enhancement Classes, which will benefit the children, families and residents of the City of Newark.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council supports the issuance by City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Science Park High School, 260 Norfolk Street, Newark, New Jersey 07103, on Saturday, November 2, 2013; Saturday, November 9, 2013; Saturday, November 16, 2013; Saturday, November 23, 2013; Saturday, December 7, 2013; Saturday, December 14, 2013; Saturday, January 4, 2014; Saturday, January 11, 2014; Saturday, January 25, 2014; Saturday, February 1, 2014; Saturday, February 8, 2014; Saturday, February 15, 2014; Saturday, February 22, 2014; Saturday, March 1, 2014; Saturday, March 8, 2014; Saturday, March 15, 2014; Saturday, March 22, 2014; Saturday, March 29, 2014; Saturday, April 5, 2014; Saturday, April 12, 2014; Saturday, April 26, 2014; Saturday, May 3, 2014; Saturday, May 10, 2014; Saturday, May 17, 2014; Saturday, May 31, 2014; Saturday, June 7, 2014; Saturday, June 14, 2014 and Saturday, June 21, 2014, from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.
2. That the City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
