WHEREAS, the Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the Golden Queens Event at Casa Seabra (formerly Mediterranean Manor), 255 Jefferson Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Casa Seabra (formerly Mediterranean Manor), 255 Jefferson Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Casa Seabra (formerly Mediterranean Manor), 255 Jefferson Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Casa Seabra (formerly Mediterranean Manor), 255 Jefferson Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, for the Golden Queens Event, on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to Casa Seabra (formerly Mediterranean Manor), 255 Jefferson Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.

This Resolution supports the issuance, by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the benefit of Casa Seabra (formerly Mediterranean Manor), 255 Jefferson Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Casa Seabra (formerly Mediterranean Manor), 255 Jefferson Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from, 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M., for the Golden Queens Event, sponsored by Council Member, Luis A. Quintana.
