WHEREAS, the Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the Annual Easter Egg Hunt Celebration at Good Council School (Parking Lot), 654 Summer Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, on Saturday, April 3, 2021, from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. (Includes Set-Up at 11:00 A.M. and Break-down until 4:00 P.M.) (Rain Date: Saturday, April 10, 2021, from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. (Includes Set-Up at 11:00 A.M. and Break-down until 4:00 P.M.)); and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Good Council School, 654 Summer Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Good Council School, 654 Summer Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Good Council School (Parking Lot), 654 Summer Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104 for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt Celebration on Saturday, April 3, 2021, from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. (Includes Set-Up at 11:00 A.M. and Break-down until 4:00 P.M.) (Rain Date: Saturday, April 10, 2021, from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. (Includes Set-Up at 11:00 A.M. and Break-down until 4:00 P.M.))
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to the Good Council School, 654 Summer Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
