WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council through Resolution 7R11-a adopted on February 6, 2013, ratifying and authorizing the Mayor and/or his designee, the Police Director and/or his designee, the Director of Emergency Management and Homeland Security to identify a source to meet the matching funds requirement of the FY '10 Emergency Operations grant; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to amend Resolution 7R11-a February 6, 2013 to satisfy the matching funds requirement in the amount of $333,333.33 to include in kind equipment costs, and/or construction costs for the Emergency Operations Center; and
WHEREAS, all terms and conditions of the resolution and grant agreement shall remain the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. Resolution 7R11-a February 6, 2013 is hereby amended to state the $333,333.33 match requirement of the FY'10 Emergency Operations Grant shall be provided in-kind by percentage of time and salaries of employees who work on this project, and equipment costs, and/or construction costs for the Emergency Operations Center (a copy of the resolution is attached hereto and made a part hereof.)
STATEMENT
This resolution ratifies and amends Resolution 7R11-a February 6, 2013 and authorizes the Mayor and/or his designee, the Police Director and/or his designee, the Director of Emergency Management and Homeland Security to provide matching grant funds in the amount of $333,333.33 in-kind by percentage of time and salaries of employees who will work on this project, and equipment costs, and/or construction costs for the Emergency Operations Center.
