WHEREAS, the Municipal Council previously adopted Resolution 7R8-f during the January 21, 2021, supporting a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark, Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Board of Education for a Vaccine Program conducted by St. James Health Clinic at East Side High School, 238 Van Buren Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, to be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 and Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 8:30 A.M. until 3:30 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, as a result of an existing agreement between the City of Newark, Department of Health and Community Wellness and the Newark Board of Education there is no longer a need for a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the City of Newark, Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Board of Education, for the use of East Side High School, 238 Van Buren Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, for a Vaccine Program conducted by St. James Health Clinic, to be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 and Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 8:30 A.M. until 3:30 P.M is hereby immediately rescinded in its entirety.
2. A copy of this resolution rescinding the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement shall be forwarded by the Office of the City Clerk to the Business Administrator.
STATEMENT
This resolution immediately rescinds the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the City of Newark, Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Board of Education, for the use of East Side High School, 238 Van Buren Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, for a Vaccine Program conducted by St. James Health Clinic, to be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 and Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 8:30 A.M. until 3:30 P.M in its entirety.
