WHEREAS, the Municipal Council is desirous of providing parking for a ceremonial street designation program for honoree, Kevin Thompson Brown, to be held on Friday, June 25, 2021, at time to be determined; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its’ support for this program by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, by the City of Newark, Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Board of Education, West Side High School, 403 South Orange Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07103.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the City of Newark, Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Board of Education, for the use of West Side High School (Parking Lot), 403 South Orange Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07103, for parking during a ceremonial street designation program for Kevin Thompson Brown, to be held on Friday, June 25, 2021, at a time to be determined.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to Newark Public Schools, 765 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark, Insurance Fund Commission, shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.

This Resolution supports the issuance, by the City of Newark’s Insurance Fund Commission, of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the benefit of the Newark Board of Education, for the use of West Side High School (Parking Lot), 403 South Orange Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07103, for parking during a ceremonial street designation program for Kevin Thompson Brown, to be held on Friday, June 25, 2021, at a time to be determined.
