WHEREAS, the Municipal Council is desirous of supporting an End of Summer Senior Barbeque, at One Court Street Apartments, One Court Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102 (Parking Lot), on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 12:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of One Court Street Apartments (Parking Lot), One Court Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of One Court Street Apartments, One Court Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use One Court Street Apartments (Parking Lot), One Court Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for an End of Summer Senior Barbeque, on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 12:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to One Court Street Apartments (Parking Lot), One Court Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
STATEMENT
This Resolution supports the issuance, by the City of Newark’s Insurance Fund Commission, of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the benefit of One Court Street Apartments, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of One Court Street Apartments (Parking Lot), One Court Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 12:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M., for an End of Summer Senior Barbeque, sponsored by Council President, LaMonica R. McIver.
