WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council desires to support the 4^th Ironbound Multi-Cultural Festival - “Celebrate Newark” at the Edison Parking Corporation, 1^st Floor, Newark, New Jersey 07102, between the hours of 6:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M., sponsored by Council Member Augusto Amador; and

WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event that will benefit Newark residents by approving the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to the Edison Parking Corporation, 110 Edison Place, Newark, New Jersey 07102.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:

1.                     The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of Edison Parking Corporation, 110 Edison Place, Newark, New Jersey 07102 for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Edison Parking Corporation’s, 1^st Floor, Newark, New Jersey 07102 for the 4^th Ironbound Multi-Cultural Festival - “Celebrate Newark,” between the hours of 6:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M.

2.                      The City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to the Edison Parking Corporation, 110 Edison Place, Newark, New Jersey 07102 for their records.

3.                     A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the Insurance Fund Commission, shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.

STATEMENT

This resolution hereby supports the issuance by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the benefit of the Edison Parking Corporation, 110  Edison Place, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Edison Parking Corporation’s, 1^st Floor, Newark, New Jersey 07102, on Friday, October 14, 2016 through Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 6:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. for the 4^th Ironbound Multi-Cultural Festival - “Celebrate Newark,” sponsored by Councilman, Augusto Amador.
