WHEREAS, the Municipal Council is desirous of supporting a Women’s Meeting at the Monsignor William Linder Plaza, 233 West Market Street, Newark, New Jersey 07103, to be held on Friday, March 3, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Monsignor William Linder Plaza, 233 West Market Street, Newark, New Jersey 07103.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Monsignor William Linder Plaza, 233 West Market Street, Newark, New Jersey 07103, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Monsignor William Linder Plaza, 233 West Market Street, Newark, New Jersey 07103, for a Women’s Meeting, to be held on Friday, March 3, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
2. The Acting City Clerk, on behalf of the Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to Monsignor William Linder Plaza, 233 West Market Street, Newark, New Jersey 07103, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.

This Resolution supports the issuance, by the City of Newark’s Insurance Fund Commission, of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the benefit of the Monsignor William Linder Plaza, 233 West Market Street, Newark, New Jersey 07103, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Monsignor William Linder Plaza, 233 West Market Street, Newark, New Jersey 07103, for a Women’s Meeting to be held on Friday, March 3, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., sponsored by Council President, LaMonica R. McIver.
