Resolution 7R1-a(s) adopted on February 25, 2025 authorized the City of Newark to enter into a contract to provide videotaping, training, and technical assistance to the Municipal Council and the City Clerk’s Office in an amount of $300,000
This amendment to Resolution 7R1-a(s) 02/25/2025 authorizes the Office of the City Clerk to utilize contract for videotaping and increases the initial contract amount by $50,000 for a revised contract amount not to exceed $350,000. All other provisions of the original Resolution, as amended, will remain unchanged.

WHEREAS, on February 25, 2025 the Municipal Council adopted Resolution 7R1-a(s) authorizing the City of Newark's Purchasing Agent City of Newark to enter into a contract to provide videotaping, training, and technical assistance to the Municipal Council and the City Clerk’s Office from, Interfaith Television Ministries, Inc., One Gateway Center, Suite 2600, Newark, New Jersey 07102, in an amount not to exceed Three Hundred Thousand and Fifty Dollars and Zero Cents ($350,000.00); and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council and Office of the City Clerk desires to purchase videotaping services from contract S426202 Year 1, and S427202 Year 2; and
WHEREAS, there has recently been additional requests to record municipal events that will further increase the initial contract amount by Fifty Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($250,000.00), resulting in a new total not-to-exceed contract amount of Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($350,000).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. Resolution 7R1-a(s) adopted on February 25, 2025, is hereby amended to increase the contract amount with, Interfaith Television Ministries, Inc., One Gateway Center, Suite 2600, Newark, New Jersey 07102 to purchase videotaping services.
2. The initial contract amount authorized by Resolution 7R1-a(s) 02/25/2025, is hereby to be increased by Fifty Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($50,000.00), bringing the total, not-to-exceed contract amount to Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($350,000.00).
3. There shall be no amendment or change to the contract without approval of the Municipal Council by Resolution.
4. There shall be no advance payment on this contract in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:5-16.
5. A Certification of the Availability of Funds shall be executed each time a purchase order is placed and charged against this contract.
8. Funds for the purchase are available from 011-020-0201-71280 B2025 and 011-020-0201-71280-B2026.
9. A copy of this Resolution and the duly executed contract shall be filed with the Office of the City Clerk.
10. If required by State Law, the City Clerk shall provide the appropriate notice of the award of this contract to the State Comptroller, no later than twenty (20) business days following such award, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:15C-10.
STATEMENT
This amendment to Resolution 7R1-a(s) adopted February 25, 2025 authorizes the amendment of the contract for videotaping and increases the not-to-exceed contract amount by $50,000.00. The revised total not-to-exceed contract amount is $350,000.00. All other provisions of Resolution 7R1-a (s) 02/25/2025 shall remain unchanged.
