WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting a Holiday Performance by the dance group Paganini at East Side High School, 238 Van Buren Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, on Sunday, January 24, 2016, between 2:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving this Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement with the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of East Side High School - 238 Van Buren, Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, on Sunday, January 24, 2016, between 2:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
STATEMENT
This resolution approves and supports the issuance by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the benefit of the Newark Publics Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of East Side High School, 238 Van Buren Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, for the Holiday Performance by the dance group Paganini on Sunday, January 24, 2016, from 2:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M.
