WHEREAS, the City of Newark Department of Health and Community Wellness is desirous of supporting an Healthcare Town Hall Meeting, sponsored by the Director of Health and Community Wellness at Speedway Academy, at 701 South Orange Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07106, on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at 6:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Speedway Academy, at 701 South Orange Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07106, for an Healthcare Town Hall Meeting, on Wednesday May 27, 2015, at 6:00 P.M.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
