WHEREAS, an emergency has arisen in Special Item of Appropriation in the amount of $205,265.00 bringing the total program resources to $965,265.00 for the continued provision of Traffic Signal Optimization/Adaptive Traffic Signals Along McCarter Highway (Route 21) Project and no provision has been made in the 2017 Temporary Budget for the aforesaid purpose; and
WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40A:4-20 provides for the creation of an emergency appropriation for the aforementioned purpose; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution 7R3-a dated April 19, 2017, the City of Newark accepted from North Jersey Transportation Planning...
