WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting Council Member Ras J. Baraka for the Chaos or Community Part II Educational Forum, to be held at Central High School Auditorium, 246 18th Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07108, on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support of Family Educational and Enhancement Classes, which will benefit the children, families and residents of the City of Newark.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission agrees to Hold Harmless and Indemnify the Newark Public Schools for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Central High School Auditorium, 246 18th Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07108, on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
2. That the City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless Agreement to the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102 for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless Agreement drawn by the Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
