WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 7R9-d(AS), adopted on October 5, 2016, the Municipal Council supported the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the 5th Annual Ironbound Walk for the Cure and Health Fair at East Side High School, 238 Van Buren Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, on Sunday, October 9, 2016, between 9:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, it has been requested to reschedule the date from Sunday, October 9, 2016 to Sunday, October 23, 2016, between 9:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M., due to the inclement weather conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of an amended Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of East Side High School, 238 Van Buren, Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, on Sunday, October 23, 2016, between 9:00 A.M. through 2:00 P.M and/or for any re-scheduled Rain Date be...
