WHEREAS, the Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the performance of I Dream A World, Songs & Verse to Inspire a Nation at George Washington Carver Elementary School, 333 Clinton Place, Newark, New Jersey 07112, (Auditorium and Parent Room) Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 12:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.; (includes Set-up at 12:00 P.M. and Breakdown Ending at 5:00 P.M.)

WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of George Washington Carver Elementary School, 333 Clinton Place, Newark, New Jersey 07112.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Newark Municipal Council supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of George Washington Carver Elementary School, 333 Clinton Place, Newark, New Jersey 07112, (Auditorium and Parent Room) Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M., (Includes Set-up at 12:00 P.M. and Breakdown Ending at 5:00 P.M.) for the performance of I Dream A Wo...
