WHEREAS, an emergency has arisen in the Special Item of Appropriation in the amount of Fifteen Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($15,000.00), for the Greater Newark HealthCare Coalition Inc. National Cardiovascular Program, and no adequate provision has been made in the 2026 Temporary Budget for the aforesaid purpose and N.J.S.A. 40A:4-20 provides for the creation of an emergency appropriation for the purpose above-mentioned; and
WHEREAS, by the Notice of a Program Participation Agreement, the Greater Newark HealthCare Coalition Inc. ("GNHCC") awarded the City of Newark funds in the amount of Fifteen Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($15,000.00). The aforementioned program will provide funds for data management support in the implementation of the Hypertensive Quality Project to the residents of the City of Newark; and
