WHEREAS, the Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the Annual Holiday Parade of Lights on Mount Prospect Avenue (beginning on Elwood Avenue, between Summer Avenue and Mount Prospect Avenue and concluding on Second Avenue and Mount Prospect Avenue), Newark, New Jersey 07104, on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 5:30 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Essex County Department of Public Works, Division of Roads and Bridges, 99 W Bradford Ave, Cedar Grove, New Jersey 07009.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Essex County Department of Public Works, Division of Roads and Bridges, 99 W Bradford Ave, Cedar Grove, New Jersey 07009, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Mount Prospect Avenue (beginning on Elwood Avenue, between Summer Avenue and Mo...
