WHEREAS, on or about August 14, 2020 the City of Newark (hereinafter the "City"), Department of Public Safety, Division of Fire (hereinafter "Fire Division") submitted a Letter of Intent (attached hereto) requesting funds from the Leary Firefighters Foundation (hereinafter the "LFF"), located at 14 Murray St. New York, New York 10007, for the purchase of equipment to wash and decontaminate Fire Division structural firefighting gear to remove toxins that can harm the health of firefighters; and
WHEREAS, the LFF has made a grant available to the Fire Division (attached hereto) for three (3) Groves - EW30 Extractors and two (2) Groves - Express Dryers (Equipment) to be purchased by the LFF on behalf of the Fire Division; and
