WHEREAS, the City of Newark's (hereinafter, "City") Department of Health and Community Wellness (hereinafter, "DHCW") provides medical care services pursuant to and consistent with the Health Center Program laws and regulations (including Section 330 of Public Health Services Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 254b and 42 C.F.R. ? 51c.301, et seq.); and

WHEREAS, Seton Hall University ("Seton Hall") has been awarded the multi-year grant #UK1HP46062 from the United States Health Resources and Services Administration, and the City is a subcontractor, for the expansion and strengthening of the nurse workforce for integrated health in vulnerable populations; and

WHEREAS, on October 19, 2023, Seton Hall sent the City a sub-award amendment in an amount of Two Hundred Ninety Three Thousand One Hundred Forty Two Dollars and Zero Cents ($293,142.00) and also extended the award until June 30, 2024 (a copy of the sub-award amendment is attached hereto and made a part hereof); and
