This Resolution will amend Resolution 7R3-d, adopted on December 6, 2023, by increasing the grant funding from $5,663,005.13 to $6,929,474.35 ($5,922,480.79 for construction and $1,006,993.56 for construction inspection), by accepting additional funding in amount of $1,266,469.22.

WHEREAS, the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) and the State of New Jersey, Department of Transportation (NJDOT) provides funds for Local Safety Programs; and
WHEREAS, on June 15, 2015, the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) invited the City of Newark to submit proposals for the FY 2016-2017 solicitation of the Local Safety and High Risk Rural Roads Program; and
