WHEREAS, the City of Newark (the "City") requires Professional Services to conduct Billing Software Implementation: Software Services, and as such, the Department of Water and Sewer Utilities issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) on August 6, 2021; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Water and Sewer Utilities distributed thirteen (13) Requests for Proposals ("RFP") packages to prospective vendors following the date of advertisement; and
WHEREAS, on September 21, 2021, the Department of Water and Sewer Utilities received six (6) proposals in response to its RFP; and
WHEREAS, the Proposal received from Origin Consulting, LLC, 1930 Village Center Circle, #3-704, Las Vegas, Nevada 89134, for this work for the amount not to exceed One Million Five Hundred Eighty-Two Thousand Four Hundred Twenty Dollars and Thirty-Three Cents ($1,582,420.33), was found to be in the best interest of the City to accept; and
