WHEREAS, the City's Department of Water and Sewer Utilities requires Professional Engineering Services for Water Meter Replacement Program: Design and Construction Administration Services and issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) on May 18, 2020; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Water and Sewer Utilities received seven (7) Qualification Statements on July 14, 2020 pursuant to the RFQ, and a Qualification Statement received from CDM Smith, Inc., 110 Fieldcrest Avenue, #8, 6th Floor, Edison, New Jersey 08837, for this work for the amount not to exceed Two Hundred Seventy Thousand Eight Hundred Ten Dollars and Zero Cents ($270,810.00), was found to be in the best interest of the City of Newark to accept; and
