WHEREAS, on June 15, 2005, the City's Municipal Council adopted Resolution 7Rdo(AS) designating the entire City of Newark as an area in need of rehabilitation; and
WHEREAS, on April 1, 2009, the Municipal Council adopted Ordinance 6PSF-b adopting the Kent/Brenner/Springfield Ave Redevelopment Plan (the "Original Plan"); and
WHEREAS, the Department of Economic and Housing Development and the Newark Planning Office propose the following further changes to the Kent/Brenner/Springfield Ave Redevelopment Plan, as amended within Block 2630.
The permitted uses set forth in Section 3.2.1 of the Kent/Brenner/Springfield Ave Redevelopment Plan, "Mixed-use Commercial-residential", shall be permitted uses applicable to the following properties: Block 2630, Lots 19.01, 19.02, 19.03, 19.04, 19.05, 19.06, 19.07 and 19.08.
