Original Resolution 7R1-e was adopted on September 21, 2022, authorizing a contract with F. Basso, Jr Rubbish Removal, Inc., to provide recycling, curbside collection for an amount not to exceed $3,696,000.00, for a period not to exceed twenty-four (24) consecutive months.

WHEREAS, Resolution 7R1-e adopted on September 21, 2022, by the Municipal Council authorized the Purchasing Agent, QPA (the "QPA"), to enter into and execute a contract with F. Basso, Jr Rubbish Removal, Inc., 55-93 South 20th Street, Irvington, New Jersey 07111 (the "Contractor"), to provide Recycling, Curbside Collection in the amount not to exceed Three Million Six Hundred Ninety-Six Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($3,696,000.00), for a period not to exceed twenty-four (24) consecutive months, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-15; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms of the Contract, specifically Section 3.31(H) - Termination of Contract, the City of Newark (the "City") wishes to terminate the Contract for convenience by providing sixty (60) calendar days advanced notice to the Contractor; and...
