NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
For Calendar Year 2020 the following scheduled days shall be considered as paid holidays.
January 1 New Year’s Day
January 20 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Birthday
February 12 Lincoln’s Birthday
February 17 Washington’s Birthday (Observed)
April 10 Good Friday
May 25 Memorial Day
July 3 Independence Day (Observed)
September 7 Labor Day
October 12 Columbus Day
November 3 Election Day
November 11 Veteran’s Day
November 26-27 Thanksgiving
December 25 Christmas Day
