WHEREAS, on May 17, 2016, the City of Newark through its Supervising Procurement Specialist, advertised to solicit bids for Automobile Washing and Specialized Cleaning Services, which the contractor will provide to the City of Newark, for the Public Safety and Public Works Department's usage as described in the attached bid proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing solicited thirteen (13) bids from prospective vendors from its established bid list; and
WHEREAS, on June 2, 2016, two (2) bids were received in response to this advertisement; and

WHEREAS, the Departments of Public Safety and Public Works recommends that an award be made to 378-392 Washington Street Car Wash Inc., 390 Washington Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; and
