Amendment #1 will increase the original contract amount by $15,000.00 for a total contract amount not to exceed $479,400.00.

WHEREAS, Resolution 7R12-d adopted on December 3, 2014, authorized the Director of the Department of Water and Sewer Utilities to enter into and execute a contract with Mott MacDonald, LLC, 111 Wood Avenue South, Iselin, New Jersey 08830 ("Mott MacDonald"), to provide Professional Engineering Services for the Rehabilitation of Water Distribution Mains (C&L) for a contract amount not to exceed Four Hundred Sixty-Four Thousand Four Hundred Dollars and Zero Cents ($464,400.00) until project completion pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-15(9); and
WHEREAS, the City of Newark, is currently in the process of mediation proceedings due to contractor claims for the Rehabilitation of Water Mains (C&L) with the managerial assistance of Mott MacDonald, LLC, consultant; and
