Original Resolution 7R2-g adopted on January 10, 2018 with a contract amount not to exceed $9,994,000.00 will be amended to increase the contract amount by $514,618.55 for a new total contract amount not to exceed $10,508,618.55.

WHEREAS, Resolution 7R2-g, adopted on January 10, 2018, authorized the Director of the Department of Economic and Housing Development to enter into and execute a contract for constructing Mulberry Commons Park with Flanagan Contracting Group, Inc. (the "Contract"), of 90 Old Camplain Road, Hillsborough, New Jersey 08844, in the total bid amount of $9,994,000.00; and
WHEREAS, due to unforeseen conditions at the time of the design the following change orders are requested: 1) Change Order #1 - (a) wall demolition; (b) structural changes for mast poles; (c) exterior redesign of comfort stations; and (d) mast pole footing redesign; and 2) Change Order #2 - (a) demolition and removal of concrete walls at Route 21; and
WHEREAS, Change Order #1 equals $251,368.55 and Change Order #2 equals $263,250.00, for a total of both Change Orders in the amount of $514,618.55; and
