WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the Annual Best of the Best at East Side High School (Auditorium), 238 Van Buren Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, on Thursday, June 15, 2017, between 5:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event, at East Side High School (Auditorium), 238 Van Buren Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, by approving the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, to hold harmless, indemnify, and defend the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of East Side High School (Auditorium), 238 Van Buren Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, on Thursday, June 15, 2017, between 5:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M. for the Annual Best of the Best.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to Newark Public...
