WHEREAS, the City of Newark, Department of Water and Sewer Utilities ("the Department") requires Professional Engineering Services for the Montclair Rechlorination Station Rehabilitation - Alternative Analysis, and;
WHEREAS, a proposal, dated October, 2, 2023, was received by the Department from Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc., outlining a scope of work to provide Professional Engineering Services for the Montclair Rechlorination Station Rehabilitation - Alternative Analysis; and
WHEREAS, the Department wishes to execute a Professional Engineering Services Contract with Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc., 412 Mt. Kemble Avenue, Downtown Building - 1st Floor, Morristown, New Jersey 07960, to provide Professional Engineering Services for the Montclair Rechlorination Station Rehabilitation - Alternative Analysis, in an amount not to exceed $71,600.00, and a contract period of one (1) year from the date of the issuance of a Notice to Proceed; and
