WHEREAS, N.J.S.A 40A:4-60, as amended, provides for cancellations of part, of all of the unencumbered balances in the Budget Appropriations for the 2015 Current Fund and Grant Funds; and
WHEREAS, there are no specific claims, commitments, or contracts incurred against the following balances and detail is attached:
2015 Current Fund $2,000,000.00
2015 Grant Funds $41,305,661.79
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
The aforesaid balances totaling $43,305,661.79 are cancelled in the 2015 budget.

STATEMENT
This resolution provides for cancellations of part, or of all, unencumbered balances in the Budget Appropriations for the 2015 Current Fund and Grant Funds in the amount of $43,305,661.79 effective December 31, 2015.
