Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting a Roundtable Discussion on Violence at 13th Avenue School (Auditorium), 359 13th Avenue, Newark, New Jersey, on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, between 5:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M.; and
Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving this hold harmless and indemnification with the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of the 13th Avenue School (Auditorium), 359 13th Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07103, on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, between 5:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M.
2. That the City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Of...
