Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting a Children's Halloween Parade and Party at Flamboyan Manor (outside), 147 Verona Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104 (if it rains, festivities will continue inside), sponsored by Council Member Luis A. Quintana, on Thursday, October 31, 2013, between 3:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M.; and
Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to the Flamboyan Manor (inside/outside).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of Flamboyan Manor for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Flamboyan Manor (outside), 147 Verona Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104 (if it rains, festivities will continue inside), on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, between 3:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M.
2. That the City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to the Flamboyan Manor, 147 Verona Avenue, Ne...
