WHEREAS, on March 21, 2017, the City of Newark (hereinafter "City"), through its Supervising Procurement Specialist, QPA, advertised to solicit bids for contractor(s) to provide Moving Services for the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program, for the Department of Health and Community Wellness, as per the bid proposal attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing also solicited twelve (12) prospective vendors to respond to this advertisement; and
WHEREAS, on April 13, 2017, the Division of Central Purchasing received two (2) bids in response to the advertisement and solicitation; and
WHEREAS, the Acting Director of the Department of Health and Community Wellness, Division of Environmental Health recommends that an award be made to Brantley Brothers Moving & Storage Company, Inc. 168 Elizabeth Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07108 (hereinafter "Brantley Brothers"), who was the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; and
