WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council ("Municipal Council") desires to support the Annual Newark Three Kings Children's Celebration at the Essex County College Gymnasium, 177 West Market Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, Tuesday, January 6, 2026 (Snow Day - Thursday, January 8, 2026), from 3:30 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. (Includes Set-up at 8:00 A.M. and Clean-up/Breakdown ending at 8:00 P.M); and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event that will benefit Newark residents, by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark, Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Essex County College, 177 West Market Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Newark Municipal Council supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark, Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Essex County College, 177 West Market Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of the Essex County College Gymnasium, 177 West Market Street, Newark, New Jersey 0710...
