WHEREAS, the City of Newark (the "City"), Department of Engineering, Division of Traffic and Signals (the "City"), on February 5, 2026 and February 11, 2026 advertised for receipt of bids for the Bikeway- 2023 Newark Downtown Connector, Contract #2024-08; and
WHEREAS, on February 13, 2026, the City issued Addendum No. 1, to correct the fuel adjustment price which was transmitted via fax and certified mail to all bidders who obtained the bid package; and
WHEREAS, on February 24, 2026, the City issued Addendum No. 2 to revise the bid opening date due to weather conditions, and this addendum was transmitted via fax and certified mail to all bidders who obtained the bid package; and
WHEREAS, on March 5, 2026 the City received two (2) bids for the Bikeway 2023 - Newark Downtown Connector, Contract #2024-08; and
WHEREAS, upon review of the bids, the Acting Director of the Department of Engineering, desires to accept the bid proposal of the lowest responsive and responsible bidder J.A.
