WHEREAS, on or about January 18, 2022, Greater Newark Health Care Coalition (GNHCC), 80 Main Street, Suite 10 West Orange New Jersey 07052, proposed funding assistance to the City of Newark, Department of Health and Community Wellness (DHCW) to close fiscal gaps related to DHCW COVID-19 expenditures incurred in 2021; and
WHEREAS, the GNHCC, desires to award the DHCW Twenty-Two Thousand Five Hundred and Thirty-One Dollars and Zero Cents ($22,531.00), for the period of September 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021, for the cost of 2021 COVID-19 isolation and quarantine expenses incurred at the Robert Treat Hotel only; and
WHEREAS, the Director of the DHCW executed a GNHCC Grant Agreement, dated February 3, 2022, attached hereto, to accept grant funds in the amount of Twenty-Two Thousand Five Hundred and Thirty-One Dollars and Zero Cents ($22,531.00), for the cost of 2021 COVID-19 isolation and quarantine expenses incurred, at the Robert Treat Hotel only, for the period of September 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021;...
