WHEREAS, the Municipal Council is desirous of supporting a Senior Day of Hearts Brunch, at 2 Grafton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, from 9:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of The Waterfront, 2 Grafton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of The Waterfront, 2 Grafton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of The Waterfront, 2 Grafton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for a Senior Day of Hearts Brunch, to be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, from 9:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to The Waterfront, 2 Grafton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office o...
