Whereas, Bakbakker Brother B Yehuda of the City of Newark, New Jersey has played a major role in the productivity of this community; and
Whereas, the residents of the City of Newark is very fond of the accomplishments of this consummate public servant; and
Whereas, Bakbakker Brother B Yehuda's self-sacrifice helped to build on the Social, Health, Educational Welfare and Political Progress of this community; and
Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council wants to commemorate the progress made by Bakbakker Brother B Yehuda
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT, it does hereby authorize the naming of the corner of Peshine Avenue and Meeker Avenue as Bakbakker Brother B Yehuda Way.for honorary and ceremonial purposes.
1. Naming Meeker Avenue and Peshine Avenue as Bakbakker Brother B Yehuda Way, for honorary and ceremonial purposes.
2. The names of said streets shall remain Peshine Avenue and Meeker Avenue in their entirety.
