WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 7R5-b adopted on February 3, 2026, the City of Newark's ("City") Department of Health and Community Wellness ("DHCW") applied for and accepted grant funds from the State of New Jersey Department of Health ("NJDOH"), P.O. Box 360, Trenton, New Jersey 08625, in the amount of Two Hundred Eleven Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty-One Dollars and Zero Cents ($211,821.00) to maintain and enhance the Local Core Capacity for Public Health Emergency Preparedness LINCS program; and
WHEREAS, on or about September 22, 2025, NJDOH notified the DHCW that additional funds in the amount of Forty- Three Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty-Seven Dollars and Zero Cents ($43,787.00) has been made available, increasing the Award Amount to Two Hundred Fifty-Five Thousand Six Hundred Eight Dol...
