WHEREAS, an emergency has arisen in Special Item of Appropriation in the amount of One Hundred Ten Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-Seven Dollars and Zero Cents ($110,367.00) (which includes Federal Funding of $95,367.00, plus Supplemental Support Funding of $15,000.00) for the New Jersey Transportation Planning Authority, Inc. ("NJTPA") FY2024 Sub-Regional Transportation Planning Program and no adequate provision has been made in the 2023 Temporary Budget for the aforesaid purpose; and N.J.S.A. 40A:4-20 provides for the creation of an emergency appropriation for the above-mentioned purpose; and
WHEREAS, by an award letter dated June 30, 2023, the City of Newark has been awarded funds from the NJTPA, in the amount of $110,367.00 (which includes Federal Funding of $95,367.00, plus Supplemental Support Funding $15,000.00), to be used for the FY2024 Sub-Regional Transportation Planning Program; and
