WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 7R3-a 11/14/2022, the City of Newark ("City") entered into a Cost Replacement Agreement (Agreement No. 2022-DT-BLA-209) ("Agreement") with the New Jersey Department of Transportation ("NJDOT") as a part of a sub-recipient grant from the Federal Highway Administration for the CR 508 Central Avenue Bridge Over City Subway Structure Preliminary Design Project ("Central Avenue Bridge Project"); and
WHEREAS, the initial term of said Agreement was April 14, 2023 to April 01, 2025; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 7R3-a 05/22/2024, the City and the NJDOT entered into Agreement Modification No. 1 Agreement No. 2022-DT-BLA-209, extending the term of the Agreement to October 1, 2025; and
