WHEREAS, an emergency has arisen in the Special Item of Appropriation in the amount of One Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars and Zero Cents ($1,775.00) for Supplemental Nutrition Services for the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program and no adequate provision has been made in the 2023 Temporary Budget for the aforesaid purpose and N.J.S.A. 40A:4-20 provides for the creation of an emergency appropriation for the purpose above-mentioned; and
WHEREAS, by the Notice of Award dated March 1, 2023, the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH), Division of Family Health Services has made additional funds available in the amount of One Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars and Zero Cents ($1,775.00) for Supplemental Nutrition Services for the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program.
