WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40A:4-87 provides that the Director of the Division Local Government Services ("Director") may approve the insertion of any Special Item of Revenue in the budget of any local unit when such item shall have been made available by law and the amount thereof shall not have been determined at the time of the adoption of the budget; and
WHEREAS, the Director may approve the insertion of an appropriation item of equal amount; and
WHEREAS, the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development has made available $12,971.00 for the WIOA Data Reporting Analysis Allocation 2024-2025 (Citywide); and
WHEREAS, by award letter dated June 7, 2024, the City of Newark was awarded WIOA Data Reporting Analysis Allocation 2024-2025 in the amount of $12,971.00 from the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development to provide funds for program operations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
