WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 7R8-b, adopted on April 5, 2017, the Newark Municipal Council supported the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for "Fado, Folklore e Mais Fado," as part of the celebration of Portugal Day in Newark, at East Side High School, 238 Van Buren Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105 (Auditorium), on Sunday, May 21, 2017, from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the time of "Fado, Folklore e Mais Fado," as part of the celebration of Portugal Day in Newark was rescheduled from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M to 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. to allow for set up and break down for the event.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports amending the time of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of East Side High School, 238 Van Buren ...
