WHEREAS, the Local Municipal Budget for the Year 2023 was introduced on the 27th of June; and
WHEREAS, the public hearing on said Budget has been held as advertised on August 2, 2023; and
WHEREAS, it is desired to amend said introduced Budget.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Municipal Council of the City of Newark, County of Essex that the following amendments to the introduced Budget of 2023 be made:
See attached Exhibit A (Amendments to the Introduced Budget of 2023)
1. A certified copy of this Resolution be uploaded to the FAST System for the Director of the Division of Local Government Services for the certification of the 2023 Municipal Budget, so amended.
2. This complete amendment, in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A.40A:4-9, be published in the Star Ledger and the said publication contain notice of public hearing on said amendment to be held at City Hall, 920 Broad Street, Council Chamber, on September 20, 2023 at 6:30 P.M.
It is hereby certified that this is a true copy of a Resolution amending the 2023 Municipal Budget, adopted by the Municipal Council on the 7th day of September 2023.
